The engine was removed as well as the side plates. The intention was to strip it down to get the crank out but two bolts hold the cases together were seized and rounded. I stood the engine on its side and used plenty of WD40 to try and loosen the screws.
Head and barrell.
Teeny Mikuni carb.
Mikuni oil pump.
Piston removed. There is a lot of play on the small end of the conrod so that will be replaced.
Oil tank removed.
Air box removed.
Assortment of KH125 parts on the workbench.
I had a little search on google earlier and found some photos of what the bike will look like when finished.The KH125 below is painted in polar white.
The KH125 below is painted in candy cobalt blue.
As the FZR is white and red I am tempted to have the blue colour scheme when I come to have the paintwork done.
