This purchase started last weekend. I found this on ebay with only one bid I knew once I had seen it that I had to buy it. I've been after a Garage Vary bonnet for a long time now so I was determined to win the auction. My mate picked me up in his van today so after a 320 mile round trip I now have it back home with me. The bonnet needs a little bit of work but as it's fibreglass it take much to get this looking new again.
The bonnet is so light when carrying it. It looks even better in person but still keeps a subtle look. The underside has been spray painted too but I'll strip the paint back when I come to refurbish it. The mesh needs fixing as it has bent out of shape slightly but again, this is a small job.
Here is how the bonnet will look when painted and fitted.
My new handbrake gaiter came in the post too for my Nakamae centre console. It has a quality feel to it and suits the centre console.
