Here is the old brake leaver unit. Note the badly corroded bracket too.
This is the bent rear brake pedal.
You can see from the photo that the foot peg has sheered at the end when the bike has been dropped at some point.
This is the 'new' foot peg that I fitted last night. I still need some new rubbers but they are cheap and easy to come by.
The brake light was a bit temperamental when the front brake was being used. It was discovered that one of the wires had a split so a Scotch clip was used as a fix.
Lastly, the rear seat has a tiny little tear in it and previously you could see the yellow foam of the seat. I used some leather dye to help touch it up and look more discrete.
