Remember that set of Watanabe's I bought from Japan last summer? Well, I have finally started fixing them up, it has only taken 12 months. I have 6 that need spraying but two of them will have attention from a professional wheel shop. One of the B types needs the outer lip tarting up and one of the A types has a small flat spot so this will need to be fixed too. I'm still unsure of what colour to go for but right now I am trying to get rid of the small score marks on the lips. I am using a variety of wet and dry sand paper. Here are some photos from the progress tonight,
Before I began sanding,
Example of some of the scoring. The A type that will be repaired has the worst scoring out of all of them so I will ask the wheel shop to fix that.
There used to be scoring here,
