FlexDoor is hinged rear doors that open back to the rear of the car at an angle of almost 90 degrees, greatly increases the ease with which residents enter and exit the cab. Rather than retreat, or to the side, like I use a normal hinged door, with no obstacles ahead FlexDoor allows access and exit to and from the cab, reinforced by the roofline of Vauxhall Meriva is very high.
For parents with children, there are more benefits. Since opening a bigger door and free space around the B pillar, a parent can bring up small children in the front to the rear assembly, the second stage of the child seat without having to turn around at the door. And with the front and rear doors open (open at the front of the same angle to the rear FlexDoor) a “father-friendly” zone door made without a barrier between front and rear passengers.
